This is the first leap in manufacturing process. Experienced assorters check the rough diamonds and determine its grade based on properties such as clarity, color, shape & size etc. i.e. 4'C's namely color, clarity, carat weight and cut. Accurate rough stone assortment makes subsequent planning operation easy.
